Denisha began her electrical career in 2012 as an apprentice in London, alongside studying Electrical Installation Levels 2 and 3 with City & Guilds. While working for various electrical contractors, she gained extensive hands-on experience on construction sites, delivering installation works across a wide range of sectors, including residential and commercial projects.

In 2018, Denisha decided to transition from site-based electrical work into building services design. She completed a Level 3 Building Services Engineering apprenticeship before progressing to university, where she achieved a BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering. Alongside her studies, she successfully completed her End Point Assessment and attained Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with CIBSE.

During her time working within engineering consultancies, Denisha has contributed to projects across the residential, industrial, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.
