Howard has enjoyed a varied career as a consultant, with highlights including delivery of photonics and biomedical science lab facilities for Imperial College London and the National Physical Laboratories.

Howard has worked within several design capacities throughout the industry, from updating drawings on the contractor’s team through to successfully leading and delivering his own design teams on behalf of clients. In addition to technical skills, he has interests in construction law and has worked in the Contract Administrator capacity in the successful execution of JCT contracts.

Recently he has been involved in several decarbonisation exercises and has overcome several of the challenges required in retrofitting heat pump solutions into existing buildings. His approach to design is one of pragmatism and cooperation and a willingness to listen to all stakeholders within a project.
